Policy objectives

The Policy has three equally ranking objectives:

to advance Government Priorities
to achieve value for money
to ensure probity and accountability for outcomes.

Each agency should use its best endeavours to ensure that competitive local business and industry is given a full, fair and reasonable opportunity to supply the Queensland Government, and to deal with suppliers which treat their employees fairly.
