Assistance with the Policy

The Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office provides a range of assistance measures with the State Procurement Policy including:

• advice on the application of the Policy and associated guidance
• assistance with procurement profiling and supply positioning
• procurement capability and performance assessment projects, and a system of agency accreditation to assist agencies to identify areas of improvement in procurement
• procurement education and training programs
• a procurement certification system that helps agencies to ensure that officers involved in procurement have the appropriate skills
• seminars on key aspects of the Policy for officers involved in procurement
• the Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office website
• monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of the Policy.
