GITC Services

The Queensland Government maintains a substantial on-going investment in information and communications technology (ICT) products and services. To this end the Queensland Government (through the Department of Public Works), has established the Government Information Technology Contracting Framework (GITC V5) as the cornerstone of Government procurement for ICT products and services.

The GITC is administered by GITC Services which works closely with both Government agencies and the ICT industry to simplify the purchasing process. The GITC terms and conditions are designed to remove uncertainties and inconsistencies in contractual procurement arrangements.

Queensland Government agencies and ICT suppliers are encouraged to contact GITC Services for advice and assistance in relation to ICT contractual issues. Advice can be provided to agencies during any stage of the procurement process, as well as during the establishment and management of ICT contracts.
