The following training on the GITC V5 Framework is available:
Introductory level training sessions
These sessions will provide an overview of GITC Version 5, looking at the features and benefits of the framework. The session will briefly address putting together a contract under the framework and what the contentious issues may be.
Intermediate workshops
This workshop will provide a more detailed overview of the GITC Version 5 framework. Procurement scenarios will be workshopped so that a General Order (incl. relevant Module Orders) can be created. Consideration will also be given to the common issues relevant to ICT contracts, such as:
- Intellectual Property and Moral Rights issues;
- Liability, liquidated damages issues
- Project Implementation and Payment Plan; and
- Other typical areas of consideration for ICT contracting under GITC.
Who should attend?
- Queensland Government agencies and authorities who are involved in Government ICT procurement and contracting activities.
- ICT suppliers who are involved in ICT procurement and contracting activities with the Queensland Government.
When will training sessions be held?
