Training

GITC Services is not currently providing any training sessions. Ad hoc information sessions can be requested by emailing GITC Services, and will be provided when registration numbers are sufficient. The sessions provide high-level information on the framework, as well as issues and tips when using the framework, and are available to government agencies only.

Framework training will be reviewed and developed in conjunction with the current GITC Review taking place.

New legislation changes as at 1 July 2009

Additional Provisions for Customer Contracts
New Schedule S10 – Deed of Privacy

Updated Deed of Agreement for new Applications from 1 January 2010
Schedule A2(A) for all Annual Reviews from 1 January 2010

How to deal with the changes

From 1 July 2009:

Customers are to include the Additional Provisions in all Customer Contracts
all Deeds of Privacy signed must be the latest version — this includes the changes noted within the Additional Provisions.

From 1 January 2010:

all new applications will be signed via the new Deed of Agreement — this will automatically include the legislation changes
all annual reviews will be automatically requested to include the legislation changes as described in the new Schedule A2(A).

If a Contractor holds a Schedule A2(A) with these legislation changes, either via the Deed of Agreement or via an Annual Review Schedule A2(A), it is not necessary to add the Additional Provisions to a Customer Contract.
