GITC V5 Framework

The Government Information Technology Contracting Framework Version 5 (GITC V5) contains standard contractual terms and conditions for use in the acquisition of Information Communication & Technology (ICT) products and services.  By signing the GITC Agreement, suppliers pre-agree to utilise these standard terms and conditions in their commercial dealings with Queensland Government Agencies.

All Queensland Government Agencies which fall under the Queensland State Purchasing Policy (SPP) are required to use GITC for the procurement of ICT products and/or services.  For further information regarding these requirements and who it affects please refer to Information Standard 13 – ICT Procurement.

As a pre-requisite to signing a GITC Agreement with the State of Queensland, suppliers must first apply to become GITC accredited. For further information on the accreditation process please refer to the following link: GITC Accreditation.
