The Service Delivery and Performance Commission (SDPC) report, Review of Purchasing and Logistics in the Queensland Government April 2007 was tabled in Queensland Parliament on 9 August 2007. A copy of the report is available at the SDPC's website http://www.thepremier.qld.gov.au/sdpc/reviews.
A significant agenda for change in procurement governance, practices and associated business systems is proposed by the SDPC to improve the outcomes from the sector’s expenditure on supplies, services and capital works.
The Department of Public Works has been given the responsibility to lead the implementation of the recommendations.
