What is the Queensland Government's policy on sustainable procurement?
The Queensland Government is committed to protecting the environment and doing business with ethical and socially responsible suppliers. Agencies must integrate the principles and practices of sustainability into the procurement of goods, services and construction.
The State Procurement Policy now outlines the requirements for government departments and agencies in relation to sustainable procurement. Please refer to the Operational Concept - Sustainable procurement chapter of the State Procurement Policy.
