Sustainable procurement policy and government priorities
The State Procurement Policy requires Queensland government agencies to integrate sustainability practices into the procurement of goods, services and construction. In considering the environmental and ethical factors throughout the procurement process, agencies will:
- help to achieve the objectives of the State Procurement Policy.
- advance the ambitions and targets outlined in the Queensland Government's vision to 2020.
- achieve value for money.
