What can Queensland Government agencies do to support sustainable procurement?

Agencies can significantly reduce the energy and water they use, the amount of pollution they create and the extent of their greenhouse emissions by taking a green approach to procurement and therefore reduce their negative impact on the environment. Importantly, cost savings can be achieved by buying green.

There are a number of activities that agencies can implement to improve their sustainable procurement.
