Supply Positioning & Risk Evaluation Matrix (SUPREM)
Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office has developed a Supply Positioning and Risk Evaluation Matrix (SUPREM) software tool to help Queensland Government agencies, GOCs, statutory bodies and councils develop their procurement plans.
This internet application can graphically show an organisation’s total annual spending on categories of goods and services against the degree of business risk. The risk is calculated using a structured analysis method, and is consistent across all categories.
SUPREM helps identify general buying strategies that are cost-effective and efficient. It also flags potential risk exposures that could occur from supply difficulties, thus enabling contingency planning.
