Procurement Organisation and Systems Analysis
This service provides an analysis of an agency’s overall procurement capability and performance. It covers strategic, tactical and operational procurement activities and involves an analysis of:
- where procurement-related decisions are being made within the agency
- structure of the procurement function – covering the agency’s procurement policy, procedures and operating systems
- expertise of procurement personnel
- resources available to do the work.
This analysis is mapped against the size, nature and complexity of the supplies and services purchased by the agency to assess current effectiveness and areas that could be improved.
