e-Procurement
Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office supports a number of e-Business initiatives that are providing cost-effective solutions to Queensland Government agencies and Shared Service providers:
- we are supporting the ongoing development of the eTender system, an online service that advertises tenders making it easy for suppliers to access information about government business opportunities;
- we produce the Queensland Government Buyers Catalogue, an online resource for government buyers;
- we’re working with CorpTech to introduce a whole-of-Government e-Procurement system that will streamline all government agencies’ purchasing processes; and
- we work in consultation with other jurisdictions exploring technological implications and research initiatives for procurement e-Business practices.
